Jillian Boggs serves as Director of Firehawk Life and teaches Performing Arts and Creative Process. Ms. Boggs began working at EA Young in 2021 and this year she is teaching Performing Arts to K-5, and excited to explore theatre and music in a way she can get away with only at EA Young: teaching physical acting and movement through stunts and action movies, exploring song composition by creating parodies, learn set design by creating a giant gingerbread house and more! In Creative Process, Ms. Boggs works with students in grades 3-8 on building knowledge and skills that will assist them throughout their education. This year students in Creative Process are developing strong research skills, analyzing sources, discussing media literacy and bias, exploring new ideas and information, and learning how to utilize various technologies to present and share their knowledge. As the Director of Firehawk Life, Ms. Boggs plans and coordinates campus events to build community among scholars, faculty and families.

Ms. Boggs grew up nearby in Flower Mound, and attended Texas Tech University. She has a Bachelors in History and Education, as well as a Masters in Education. Before joining the faculty at EA Young Academy, Ms. Boggs worked in higher education for 10 years, assisting graduate health sciences students at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and UNT Health Sciences Center. She taught study skills to medical, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician associate and biomedical students, planned and ran campus orientations, managed student organizations, and created unique student programming and events.

Ms. Boggs is passionate about education, exploring subjects in unique ways that engage and excite students, and building empathetic, analytical, and curious learners!

Ms. Boggs lives in Fort Worth with her husband Bryan, their daughters Maddie (12) and Belle (7), and their dogs Bree and Bentley (still kicking at ages 15 & 16!). In her free time she likes to catch musicals with her family at the various performance halls and schools in the area, play Mah Jong with her friends and take naps.
